The Thunderpick World Championship 2024, a major Counter-Strike 2 tournament, will take place from 21 October to 3 November. Sixteen teams will compete for a $850,000 prize pool.
The group stage will follow a GSL format (four groups of four teams each). The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will be played in a Single Elimination format. All matches, except for the final, will be best-of-three (BO3), while the final will be a best-of-five (BO5).
Notably, only the last two days of the tournament will be held as a LAN event at LVL Arena in Berlin, Germany, with the remaining matches played online.
