RMR opening matches announced

Tournament operator Perfect World has announced the matchups for the opening rounds of the upcoming RMR tournaments leading up to the Shanghai Major in Counter-Strike 2. Team seeding was determined based on Valve’s rankings.

In the first round, NAVI will face fnatic, Team Spirit will take on B8, BetBoom Team will battle UNiTY, Virtus.pro will meet Passion UA, and Aurora will go up against Eternal Fire.

In Europe and America, the tournaments will follow the Swiss system with best-of-one matches, except for elimination and Major-qualifying games, which will be best-of-three. In Asia, the tournament will use a Double Elimination format, with opening matches being best-of-one and the rest being best-of-three.
