Renowned Ukrainian esports player Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev might soon join the Falcons' Counter-Strike 2 roster. This information was reported by journalist Richard Lewis, citing his sources. The Saudi Arabian organisation has yet to make any official announcements on the matter.
Previously, there were also rumours that G2 member Nikola "NiKo" Kovač had agreed to join the Falcons. According to media reports, the Bosnian esports professional’s transfer is expected to take place in January 2025, with Kovač continuing to compete for G2 until then.
It is worth noting that s1mple has been a reserve player for NAVI since October 2023. In March of this year, he was loaned to the Falcons for the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024, where the team lost their opening match and finished in last place. In July, when asked about his plans to return to Counter-Strike, he responded: "It's a tough question. I hope it will be soon."
The current Falcons roster is:
- Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
- Emil "Magisk" Reif
- Pavle "Maden" Bošković
- Álvaro "SunPayus" García
- Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen
- Danny "zonic" Sørensen (Coach)
