A member of the Aurora roster, Alexander "KENSI" Gurkin, shared his thoughts on whether he considers his team's group in the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 tournament to be easy. Gurkin also assessed the level of competition at the championship. The esports athlete shared his thoughts in an interview with eScoreNews.
"I wouldn't say so. At first, I thought that way too. In the end, I reconsidered and thought, 'Well, it's more or less equal.' But here, it doesn't matter. The level here is such that you must beat everyone to advance from the group stage or win the tournament. There are no strong or weak opponents. Just step by step."
Additionally, KENSI discussed the goal Aurora has set for themselves at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. According to Gurkin, the team aims to at least make it to the playoffs.
"We are the weakest team in the tournament according to the rankings. Oh no, there's also the BetBoom Team, they were invited. Right now, they are ranked lower than us. We'll try to play, nothing special. The minimum goal is to reach the playoffs. And then we'll fight, try to win."
BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 will take place from May 14 to 19 in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The teams will compete for half a million dollars in prize money.
