According to rumours, G2's player Nikola "NiKo" Kovac has agreed to transfer to Falcons' Counter-Strike 2 roster, with both parties reaching an agreement on August 26. This information comes from Sheep Esports, citing their sources.
The media reports that the Bosnian player's transfer will take place in January 2025, and until then, Kovac will continue playing for G2. It is stated that Falcons will pay the European club between $1 million and $1.2 million in compensation for NiKo's contract. Kovac's contract with the Saudi organisation will be for three years. The clubs themselves have not yet made any official announcements.
It is currently unknown which player Kovac will replace in Falcons' roster, although Sheep Esports sources report that it will not be Emil "Magisk" Reif. It is worth noting that Falcons had previously attempted to buy out the Bosnian player at the end of 2023, but the transfer did not materialise.
The current Falcons roster:
- Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
- Emil "Magisk" Reif
- Pavle "Maden" Boskovic
- Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia
- Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen
- Danny "zonic" Sorensen (coach)
