EliGE: "I don't think we should be afraid of any team"

North American Complexity player Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski commented on his team’s current performance in the 20th season of the ESL Pro League. Complexity convincingly defeated FaZe and secured a spot in the tournament's top 12. EliGE shared his thoughts in an interview with HLTV.org.

He mentioned, "Everyone on the team is feeling better as the tournament progresses, and I believe we are raising the level of our team play, which has been our main issue for some time. This should show the guys that we can beat these teams. If they give us a chance, we’ll take it, and I think we’re doing well in that regard right now.

It's not up to us if our opponents aren't at their peak performance – we need to punish them for that, and I think we’re managing it well. Every player has stepped up significantly: Grim, floppy, hallzerk. I think we’re playing well as a team, and that’s showing."

Jablonowski also spoke about their next opponent, Team Liquid, stating that Complexity is not afraid of the challenge.

"We’ve already beaten MOUZ twice, Astralis twice, and now FaZe, so I don’t think we should be afraid of any team. Of course, I believe all these teams are really strong: Liquid, FaZe, G2, but we just need to keep beating whoever’s in front of us. It’s not like these teams are unstoppable gods – I don’t think we’re at the point where everyone on the scene is insanely strong. I feel like a few teams are good and a level above the rest, but everyone else is fighting to be alongside them. We need to be one of those teams, and we need to keep fighting. I’m really happy with what we’ve achieved so far, and we need to keep pushing forward."
