ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024

The upcoming LAN event for CS2 will be the ESL Challenger in Atlanta. In the United States, eight teams from around the world will compete for a prize pool of $100,000 and, more importantly for the teams, a spot in the next season of the Pro League. The headliners of the upcoming tournament include SAW, M80, BIG, and FlyQuest.

- Dates: 4-6 October  

- Prize pool: $100,000 ($50,000 for the winner) and a spot in ESL Pro League Season 21

IEM Rio 2024

The following week will see a championship you will want to attend. Almost all of the world's top-ranked teams will gather in Rio for the Intel Extreme Masters to compete for $250,000 and a place in IEM Katowice 2025. However, Team Spirit’s absence will be disappointing, as they declined the invitation due to their busy schedule.

RES Regional Champions 2024

After IEM Rio 2024, the top teams will take a short break, giving tier-2 representatives of the Counter-Strike pro scene a chance to shine. The RES Regional Champions event, where most participants earned their place through the RES series tournaments throughout the year, offers tier-2 teams a substantial prize pool of $250,000.

Parallel to the event in Belgrade, teams will gather in Espoo, Finland, to compete for $200,000. Despite a slightly smaller prize pool, the participant list for Elisa Masters looks exciting, with teams like The MongolZ, NIP, and ENCE confirmed to attend.

The return to top-tier CS will happen on 21 October. Sixteen teams will head to Berlin to compete for a staggering $850,000, including Virtus.pro, Falcons, HEROIC, and M80. Five more teams are yet to be announced, so we may see more top-ranked teams join the tournament.

On 30 October, one of the biggest championships of the year kicks off – the BLAST Premier World Final, with a prize pool of $1 million. The event will feature the winners of IEM Katowice 2024, IEM Cologne 2024, the champion of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, as well as the top teams from the BLAST Premier Spring and Fall seasons.

- Dates: 30 October – 3 November  

- Prize pool: $1,000,000 ($500,000 for the winner)
