The first winners of the closed European qualifiers for the RMR tournaments ahead of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 have been determined.
In Group A, the top two spots on the leaderboard were taken by SINNERS and Sangal; in Group B, SAW and Cloud9 performed the best. All four teams won three consecutive matches, securing their spots at the RMR.
Additionally, the first teams to be eliminated from the qualifiers have also been revealed in both groups: ENTERPRISE, 1WIN, Zero Tenacity, and AMKAL ended their participation with a 0-3 record.
It is worth noting that the closed European qualifiers for the RMR are being held from 21st to 23rd August using the Swiss system. The top eight teams from each group (out of 16) will advance to the RMR tournaments, which are scheduled to take place in China in November.
