The recent Esports World Cup 2024, which concluded with NAVI's victory, attracted a peak of 756,000 viewers on its broadcasts, according to statistics shared by the analytical service Esports Charts.
The most popular match was the final between NAVI and G2. The top five also included matches featuring MOUZ, Virtus.pro, Team Spirit, and FaZe. The tournament had an average viewership of 237,000 people. It was broadcast for 43 hours and garnered over 10 million hours of watch time.
Interestingly, last year's championship in Riyadh, then called Gamers8 2023, had significantly fewer peak viewers on its broadcasts (429,000).
To recap, the Esports World Cup 2024 took place from 17 to 21 July in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The event's prize pool was one million US dollars. In the final, NAVI defeated G2 with a score of 2:1. Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy was named the tournament's best player by HLTV.
