Virtus.pro CS2 coach Andrei "Xoma" Mironenko assessed his team's performance at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024. The coach shared his thoughts before the match against BIG, as reported by Escorenews.com.
"We've found some synergy with Jame. We constantly discuss the game, tactics, and decisions during matches. Everything is going well.
Right now, we're trying to find our version of a fast-paced game so we don’t play too slowly. We’re attempting to surprise with some rushes on specific maps. Our opponents are not always prepared for our new style.
Clearly, we have various issues in our matches. But our main problem arises when we play against teams we can't prepare for. It's difficult for us, which is why we lost to Liquid. We couldn’t build a plan for the match because we didn’t know their play style or have other information about the players."
Previously, Virtus.pro was unable to advance from Group D. Mironenko’s team lost to BIG with a score of 1:2.
The BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024 is taking place from 29 July to 4 August in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sixteen teams are competing for $190,000 in prize money and slots in the upcoming series tournaments.
