Wildcard signed two Swedish players

The American esports club Wildcard has finalised its Counter-Strike 2 roster with the addition of new members Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Tim "susp" Angström. The official announcement was made on the organisation's social media account on X.

Smidebrant had been inactive since leaving Rare Atom in March 2024, while Angström departed from the Norwegian club Metizport in May this year.

The Swedes replaced Kellen "SLIGHT" Niland and Adam "Grizz" Golden, who left Wildcard's active roster about a month ago. The former recently joined BOSS, while the latter remains a free agent.

It’s worth noting that on 14th July, Wildcard also introduced a new coach for their CS2 roster – Vincent "vinS" Józefiak. He replaced João "horvy" Horvath in this role.

Current Wildcard roster:

- Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz

- Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek

- Josh "JBa" Barutt

- Love "phzy" Smidebrant

- Tim "susp" Angström

Coach: Vincent "vinS" Józefiak
