Wildcard got rid of two players

The American esports club Wildcard has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The announcement was published on the organisation's official website.

Rumours have been confirmed: Kellen "SLIGHT" Nilan and Adam "Grizz" Golden are no longer part of Wildcard's active roster. The former has been benched and listed for transfer, while the latter has left the club as a free agent. Nilan had been with Wildcard since April of last year, and Golden joined the team on a trial basis at the beginning of May 2024.

According to media reports, the new members of the team will be Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Tim "susp" Angström. The former previously played for Rare Atom, while the latter was benched by Metizport in early May.

Recently, Wildcard secured second place in the regional online tournament ESL Challenger League Season 47, earning a spot in ESL Pro League Season 20.

The current Wildcard roster is:

- Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz

- Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek

- Josh "JBa" Barutt

João "horvy" Horvath (coach)
