Vini: “The main problem of Brazilian teams is the huge number of trips to Europe”

Vini commented on the issues facing Brazilian teams.

"The co-owner of Furia said that Brazilian organizations won't win anything else. What can you say about that?"

"I'd call that a bold statement. I wouldn't say that myself. If I did, I wouldn't believe in my team anymore. I think it's also part of the team process. We don't have the resources to scale up significantly, nor do we have the structure and extensive experience playing in tier-1 tournaments.

We're in the process of development. Winning requires work. It's too early to say things like that. It will take us 1-2 years to achieve victories in tournaments, to build a team that will revive its era. It's not easy, as all teams are strong now. But it's possible.

"What do you think is the main problem for Brazilian teams?"

"The main problem for us is the significant amount of travel to Europe. Our training in Brazil is terrible. We know that the training process in Europe is better. But, at the same time, you encounter personal problems. You're far away from family, girlfriends, and so on.

You start winning against strong teams, but at the same time, it affects your mental aspect. You can face burnout. Playing against strong teams, you can face a series of defeats. It's not easy to cope with," noted the rifler from Imperial.

Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo's team finished last in Group A at ESL Pro League 19, losing to Faze, Eternal Fire, and SAW.
