Renowned Russian cyber sports athlete Ksenia "vilga" Klyuenkova has become an official member of NIP's women's Counter-Strike 2 team. The Swedish club announced this on their social media page on X.
Klyuenkova joined NIP Impact in May of this year, taking the place of Jennica "Jenkon" Sjögren, and has been playing for the team as a stand-in since then. Today, the organisation announced the signing of a contract with vilga, officially appointing her as the team's captain.
It is worth recalling that vilga was left without a team after Fearless Cheetahs disbanded in April this year. Before that, she was removed from the roster of Nigma Galaxy (which now competes under the tag Imperial fe). Her former team won the ESL Impact League Season 5 Finals, while Ksenia, for the first time in her career, missed the league finals.
The NIP Impact roster has more than a month left to prepare for the sixth season of the ESL Impact League for Counter-Strike, which begins on 28 August. The Swedish organisation has yet to reach a LAN final in the women's league.
The current NIP Impact lineup is as follows:
- Kiara "Qiyarah" Janssen
- Naomi "Nayomy" Janssen
- Mia "aiM" Cooper
- Anna "ramziiN" Ramsing
- Ksenia "vilga" Klyuenkova
Niels-Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen (coach).
