Two players have left the North American team Party Astronauts following their disappointing performance in the closed RMR qualifiers.
Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk and Adam "WolfY" Andersson are the players in question. Cxzi had been with the team since November last year, while WolfY joined in December. The replacements for their positions in the roster have not yet been announced.
Party Astronauts' captain Ben "ben1337" Smith commented on the departure of his former teammates:
"Unfortunately, we couldn’t effectively fit into our roles, and we were unable to find our game as a team. We tried our best, but ultimately it didn’t work out. I think we should go our separate ways. I wish Danny and Adam the best of luck as we rebuild the team and look for two new players for the future."
With cxzi and WolfY, Party Astronauts secured a 5-6th place at ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024 and reached the top 8 at ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024. The team won one of three matches in the closed RMR qualifiers in North America.
