A player with the nickname Ramen, currently ranked fourth in the Premier mode leaderboard in CS2, has been caught cheating. Less than a day ago, he was banned by the VAC system for violations.
Ramen had logged over 4,000 hours in CS. At the time of the ban, his Premier mode rating was 28,857 points with 163 victories in the mode. At one point, Ramen had over 30,000 PTS and was briefly the top player on the leaderboard.
Many top players in the Premier mode of CS2 are suspected of cheating by other members of the community. Previously, former esports player Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Yążombkowski mocked Valve about this issue, suggesting that the developers should make demos of the top ladder players freely accessible.
