The MongolZ won YaLLa Compass 2024

The team led by Byambasuren "bLitz" Garidmagnai emerged victorious at the major LAN tournament YaLLa Compass 2024, held from June 5th to 9th in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.

In the final, The MongolZ secured a victory over the NIP roster. The match concluded with a score of 2:1 – 12:16 on Ancient, 13:7 on Mirage, 13:6 on Nuke.

Both finalists finished the group stage of the championship with a 4-1 record. The European team eventually made it to the quarter-finals of the playoffs, while the Mongolian team advanced directly to the semifinals. On their way to the final, NIP eliminated fnatic and FURIA, while The MongolZ secured a victory against Astralis.

For the first-place finish, The MongolZ received $200,000. The silver medalist was awarded $56,000. Additionally, both Astralis and FURIA earned $28,000 each, sharing the 3-4th place. The total prize pool of the event amounted to $400,000.

It's worth mentioning that just a week ago, bLitz and his teammates won another LAN tournament – the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024.
