The peak concurrent players in May slightly decreased from April's figure, dropping from 1.618 million to 1.614 million. The analytics service Steam Charts provided this data.
It's worth noting that a major patch was released for Counter-Strike 2 in May. The developers updated the Molotov, reduced the cost of the M4A4, introduced a skin rental feature, reworked Vertigo, and made several other changes.
