Team Spirit’s CEO, Nikita "Cheshir" Chukalin, commented on the recent results of their Counter-Strike 2 roster while responding to fan questions. Chukalin acknowledged that the team has been facing some challenges recently, both externally and internally.
He stated, "The work has been complicated lately due to some issues, both external and internal. The less experienced the players on the roster, the more such issues can arise during this period. The time for stability will come."
The CEO also confirmed that no changes would be made to the roster before the Shanghai Major. He added, "There won’t be any roster changes before the Major. Beyond that, it will depend on the results. [Did we consider Perfecto for the roster?] We considered all options, literally."
Team Spirit recently secured a 5th-6th place finish at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 in Copenhagen and made the top 8 at ESL Pro League Season 20 in Malta. Before these, the team won BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 in Belgrade and finished 13th-16th at IEM Cologne 2024 in Cologne.
