G2 coach Viktor "TaZ" Wojtas commented on his team's victory over Virtus.pro in the Esports World Cup 2024 playoffs. In an interview with HLTV, Wojtas suggested that it's very challenging for opponents to devise a good strategy against his team.
"I think it's very hard to play against us because, in my opinion, our team has no weak spots. So, it's probably very difficult to develop a game plan. 'Where do we want to attack? Do we want to go against Snax and huNter-? Do we want to duel with NiKo and Mario [malbsMd]?' And then, at one of those spots, suddenly wild Ilya [m0NESY] appears."
The Polish esports veteran also addressed the recent roster changes at G2. Viktor noted that the team needed these adjustments.
"Making changes to the roster is always difficult. It has never been easy for me throughout my over twenty-year career. But when we discussed it within the team and spoke with the management, it became clear that we needed changes. I just thought I knew what Snax was capable of individually. The only questions were how good he would be as a captain and whether we could mesh again, right? I'm just glad it's working, and we will do everything we can to keep it going and maintain the momentum."
