G2's team captain Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski, in an interview with Pley.gg, reflected on whether the criticism he faces will continue following G2's recent victory at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 in Copenhagen. He stated:
"Critics will never be silent. People will always talk and look for someone to blame. But I don’t care. They can say whatever they want, and I will just keep doing my job. If I feel I’m not performing at some point, either G2 will kick me, or I’ll leave on my own. But I don’t care what random people say."
The Polish esports player also spoke a few words about his teammate Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, calling him the best sniper in the world in CS2:
"He’s just insane, this guy. Every time I see him shoot with the AWP and the way he thinks in the game, I’m just amazed. He’s definitely the best sniper in the world.
So it’s nice to have m0NESY in your arsenal. But yesterday, he asked me if I would mind if he gave me the AWP if he wasn’t feeling the game. I just said, 'Of course. I can do that. I was a sniper in my time, so you can trust me with your AWP.'"
The BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 took place from 25 to 29 September in Copenhagen, with eight teams competing. The total prize pool was $425,000, and G2 defeated NAVI 3-1 in the final. Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov was named the tournament’s MVP.
