British esports player Owen "smooya" Butterfield has indicated that changes might be forthcoming in the roster of Into the Breach. According to Butterfield, there are issues with motivation and behaviour among some players. He shared this information with his Twitch audience during a live stream.
"I can say that if certain people don’t start behaving differently and finding their motivation, there will be changes in the roster. This is not why I stopped streaming. Right now, we can’t call ourselves professionals – this applies to the entire five-man squad and the coach. This level of CS is not acceptable to me."
It is worth noting that the new Into the Breach roster was formed in June of this year. Since then, the team has not found success in smaller online tournaments. Smooya had previously stated that he takes full responsibility for the team's results.
The current roster of Into the Breach is as follows:
- Owen "smooya" Butterfield
- Dionis "sinnopsyy" Budeci
- Flatron "juanflatroo" Halimi
- Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus
- Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas
- Gustavo "Juve" Alexandre (coach)
- Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend (assistant coach)
