The Scandinavian esports club Metizport has terminated its contract with Anton "Sapec" Palmgren, making the 22-year-old Swedish esports player officially a free agent. Palmgren announced the news on his X social media page, stating that he is open to new offers.
Sapec had been playing for Metizport since June this year. On 1st October, the organisation moved him to the bench to make room for Kasper "SHiNE" Wennerberg, who has taken over the captain's role previously held by Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora. Metizport currently holds 72nd place in the HLTV world rankings.
Before joining Metizport, Anton competed for EYEBALLERS, Young Ninjas, Begrip, and other teams. Since the start of his professional Counter-Strike 2 career in 2018, he has earned $42,000 in prize money. Sapec’s average rating over the past three months stands at 0.95 across 63 maps.
