Russian dea leaves timbermen

20-year-old Russian esports player Denis "dea" Ediev has announced his departure from the timbermen Counter-Strike 2 roster. He announced on his X page.

Ediev joined the team late last year when they were competing under the name Badass. In February 2024, just before the Copenhagen Major RMR, the team signed with the American organisation Elevate.

The roster represented Elevate until the end of the closed qualifiers for the upcoming RMR tournaments. The team failed to advance through the qualifiers, leading to the end of their partnership with the organisation. Following this, Jackson "Peeping" Cornwell also left the team.

Notably, dea was the top performer on the team; for example, in the recent closed qualifiers for the RMR, he posted an average rating of 1.19, and at Fragicago 2024, where timbermen finished second, Ediev achieved a rating of 1.28.

Current timbermen roster:

- Wyatt "snav" Phillippi

- Derek "dare" Brown

- Shane "shane" Dressler
