Rumour: MIBR may buy out one of Fluxo's players

According to Dust2 Brasil, the Brazilian esports organisation MIBR is in talks with Fluxo regarding the transfer of Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves. It is reported that Neves’ contract with Fluxo expires this December. It remains unclear which player MIBR plans to replace in its CS2 roster. Both organisations have yet to make any official statements.

It is worth noting that by 8 September, all teams participating in RMR tournaments for the Shanghai Major must register their rosters. However, teams have until the 22nd to make additional changes if needed.

MIBR had previously expressed interest in Lucaozy; in May last year, the organisation was willing to pay $280,000 for Neves’ transfer, but the player declined the offer. Lucaozy has been playing for Fluxo since August 2022, with an average rating of 1.20 over the past two years.

Fluxo failed to qualify for the RMR event ahead of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, losing in the closed qualifier. MIBR, on the other hand, received a direct invite to the tournament based on the Valve rankings.

MIBR competes at the ESL Pro League Season 20 in Malta. The team won their opening match against 9z in the event's group stage.

Current MIBR roster:

- Rafael "exit" Lacerda

- Breno "brnz4n" Poletto

- Rafael "saffee" Costa

Coach: Renato "nak" Nakano

Current Fluxo roster:

- Romeo "zevy" Rocco

- Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves

- Caike "kye" Bertolucci

- Andrei "arT" Piovezan

- Nichollas "nicks" Polonio de Oliveira

Coach: Marcos "tacitus" Castillo
