Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue, a member of the team BOSS, has paused his career as a professional Counter-Strike 2 player. The American esports athlete announced this on the social media platform X.
"It's time for me to hang up the mouse and try to find something new," Pigue explained, adding that he plans to become a streamer/content creator.
PwnAlone also mentioned that he might return to the pro scene in the future, but for now, he needs a long break from competitions. He is, however, open to offering his services as a stand-in for teams in upcoming tournaments or qualifiers.
The 33-year-old PwnAlone began competing in Counter-Strike in 2017. He has played for teams such as Party Astronauts, Singularity, EG White, and others. Since January of this year, he has been playing for BOSS. It is currently unknown who will take his place on the team. Throughout his career, the American has earned $119,000 in prize money.
