Seventeen-year-old Swedish esports player Alex "poiii" Sandgren, who plays for EYEBALLERS, has set a new record in Counter-Strike 2 for the most kills in a single game.
Sandgren achieved 39 kills on Anubis in a match against Zero Tenacity during the online tournament CCT Season 2 Europe Series 11. EYEBALLERS won that map 13-11 but lost the series 1-2 and were eliminated from the competition.
The previous record was recently set by Danil "donk" Kryshkovets of Team Spirit, who made 38 kills in a match against Wildcard during the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 20.
