CS2 coach Faruk "pita" Pita made predictions about the outcomes of the revamped G2 Esports roster. On social media platform X, he speculated that the team would not achieve significant success and would soon lose two-star players.
"Here's what will happen with G2 Esports in the next six months:
- First three months: Decent results.
- Months 3-5: Mixed results.
- Months 5-6: Very poor results.
- Sixth month: NiKo and m0NESY leave G2 Esports."
On July 3rd, G2 Esports introduced a new captain for their CS2 roster. Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski replaced Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, a former GamerLegion member. The club had also announced the signing of Mario "malbsMd" Samayo, who took over Nemanja "nexa" Isakovic's place in the starting roster.
