Tournament organiser Perfect World has announced a new Counter-Strike 2 championship from the CS Asia Championships series, set to take place in China from 1st to 13th October 2025.
This will be the fourth event in the CAC series throughout the history of the professional CS scene. The previous three tournaments took place in 2018, 2019, and 2023, with the champions being NAVI, MOUZ, and FaZe, respectively.
One of the main differences in the CS Asia Championships 2025 compared to previous tournaments is the expansion of the participant pool, increasing from 8 to 16 teams. The prize pool for the championship has not yet been disclosed.
Additionally, this year Perfect World will be hosting the second major for Counter-Strike 2, named the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. The event will be held from 30th November to 15th December in Shanghai, China, with a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
