PERA has closed CS2 Team

The Turkish esports organisation PERA has announced the complete disbandment of its Counter-Strike 2 roster, with all team members now being free agents. The announcement was posted on the club's X social media page.

The official statement did not specify the reasons behind this decision. It remains uncertain whether the players will continue competing together without the organisation's support. The team is scheduled to face Permitta on 8 August in the online Hellcase Cup 10 tournament.

In 2024, PERA only attended two LAN championships: the team performed poorly in the European RMR tournament for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and placed 21st-28th in the ESL Pro League Season 19.

Currently, PERA is ranked 43rd in HLTV.org's global rankings for Counter-Strike 2 teams. In May this year, the roster achieved its highest-ever ranking of 34th.

Former PERA roster:

- Aaron "Aaron" Sand

- Bryan "DGL" Lemecha

- Danil "Porya" Poryadin

- Bebu "Bibu" Aadil

- Kornel "kory" Sedlar

Coach: Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov
