The esports organisation Virtus.pro has announced a change in their Counter-Strike 2 roster, appointing Pavel "PASHANOJ" Legostaev as the new head coach.
Legostaev replaces Andrey "XomA" Mironenko, who joined Virtus.pro in June this year. XomA has been moved to the inactive roster.
Nikolay Petrosyan, the organisation's CEO, commented on the change:
"XomA is a talented coach with a deep understanding of the game. We sincerely thank him for his work and dedication. Currently, the Virtus.pro management, together with Andrey, are focused on finding the best option for the continuation of his career. At this moment, the club needs to concentrate on the current challenges facing the CS2 roster, so we will refrain from making any further comments on the situation."
Since June last year, PASHANOJ has been serving as an analyst for the team. Before that, he was an assistant coach for K23. Virtus.pro is now searching for a new analyst, according to the official statement.
As a reminder, Virtus.pro finished in 5th-6th place at the recent BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 tournament in the Serbian capital. In the second round of the lower bracket, the team lost to paiN. Next week, Virtus.pro will begin their campaign in ESL Pro League Season 20.
