OverDrive: "RuFire is an eSports rat!"

Insider and scout Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov announced that the organisation V1dar will disband its Counter-Strike 2 roster. Biryukov stated that the team's coach, Alexey "RuFire" Burakov, deceived investors, referring to him as a "cybersports rat". OverDrive shared this information on Telegram.

"Interesting news from V1dar. The CS team will be disbanded. Unexpectedly, RuFire once again deceived an investor, spinning tales about m0NESY and fame. The only valuable asset that needs to be taken urgently is Alv (AWP).

It turns out the contracts of V1dar players expire in July, so RuFire, not waiting for an obvious kick, ran ahead to find a new organisation, and it seems he's already found some suckers. Now it's official: RuFire is a cyber sports rat! Dealing with such scum is out of the question. Dealing with Alv is simpler – just need to take this promising AWP to a normal organisation as quickly as possible.

And RuFire will tell you that he was paid $3.5k, and he told the CEO it's not enough because he had a $10k offer from China, which he "skipped"?"

RuFire on his Telegram channel advised not to trust Biryukov's words but confirmed that he and his team are indeed currently searching for a new organisation.

"I advise not to trust info from these rat insiders; OverScuff found a month of contracts but didn't bother to find out the year, saw we're considering a new home but didn't bother to find out why. That's how the dirty laundry detectives work, reading between the lines and making assumptions hoping to land somewhere.

The real story is very sad; our CEO KarinaZ scammed money from two investors and disappeared, and we've been sitting without pay for six months, hearing breakfasts like 'I'll return everything and pay tomorrow'. Naturally, all patience has its limit; even a manager-analyst with a cashier's salary ran out of money.

So yes, we're looking for a new home; there are already a couple of interesting offers, expect info soon."

Currently, the V1dar roster includes the following esports athletes: Stefan "1mpala" Ailazian, Ivan "torox" Belkin, Daniils "4X1s" Yasiks, Vladislav "Alv" Vorokhobov, and Ivan "xm1nd" Dragunov. The team is ranked 141st in the HLTV rating.
