Insider and scout Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov shared his thoughts on the recent signing of Casper "cadiaN" Møller to the Astralis Counter-Strike 2 roster. According to Biryukov, if any previous conflicts between team members have been resolved, the Danish player could significantly strengthen the squad. OverDrive expressed his views on his Telegram channel.
He wrote, "It's interesting whether cadiaN’s invite to Astralis is a well-thought-out and team-approved move, with any past drama between cadiaN, stavn, and jabbi resolved, or if it's a shuffle similar to Virtus.pro, where incompetent management brings in a player without considering the consequences? I hope it's the former, and that it’s a 100% improvement!"
To recap, cadiaN replaced Alexander "br0" Bro, who had been representing Astralis since March this year before being benched by the organisation. Møller also assumed the role of team captain, previously held by Nicolai "device" Reedtz, although device has retained his position as the team’s sniper.
