Insider and scout Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov shared his opinion on the recent roster changes in G2's Counter-Strike 2 team. In a comment to the portal Metaratings, Biryukov noted that with the addition of two new players, the team has undoubtedly strengthened, but he still does not expect great success from them.
"In any case, this lineup is stronger than the team with nexa and HooXi. How G2 will play remains to be seen. Perhaps it's not as strong as it could have been. For example, if the organisation had bought siuhy from MOUZ and picked up someone like Perfecto, then it would have been a 'dream team.' But even so, the roster looks decent and will be interesting to watch. It doesn't seem like a failure. It's not Liquid or the old G2 rosters. But I'm not setting any high expectations."
Previously, B8 team member Andrey "npl" Kukharsky also shared his thoughts on replacing Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen with Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski in the G2 Counter-Strike 2 lineup. Kukharsky believes the updated team has good prospects if the players can establish a solid structure.
