Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg has officially departed Apeks in preparation for joining Team Liquid's new roster at the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 in Copenhagen. Following the dissolution of Apeks, mithR was the last member with an active contract.
During his tenure at Apeks, they fell short of securing first place in tournaments but achieved second place at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2023 and Elisa Masters Espoo 2023. Their most recent performance at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 saw them finish 20-22nd, with 3-4th place at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2024.
Amid recent speculation, mithR is set to join Liquid's new roster, which will also include jks and ultimate. This move marks mithR's seventh club in his career and his third major tournament appearance. His career highlight remains winning Flashpoint 3 with MOUZ, where they earned $17,000 and 1600 RMR points.
BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 is scheduled for Copenhagen from 26th July to 4th August and serves as a crucial qualifier for the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.
