The European team NIP will not be competing with its full roster at the upcoming Elisa Masters Espoo 2024, which is set to begin in just a few days in Finland.
One of the team members, Max "maxster" Jansson, will miss the event due to health issues, as the organisation announced on their X (formerly Twitter) account. Standing in for him at the tournament will be Jakob "jocab" Nerheden, a player from NIP's youth roster.
A reminder that a month ago, NIP announced roster changes to their Counter-Strike 2 team, replacing both the captain and coach.
Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 will run from 16 to 20 October in Espoo, Finland, with a total prize pool of $200,000 to be divided among eight teams. The organisers recently revealed the group stage seeding.
