Nafany: "In CS, cheats give much more than in Dota"

Nafany compared cheaters in CS and Dota.

Nafany said, "In Dota, the ecosystem is very closed, so [on the pro scene] players with cheats don't get in. There was a precedent in One Move, I believe.

A player named Leviatan, or something like that, played for the team (Cyber: it's likely he was referring to Lefitan. He played for Hydra and got banned in February for using Overwolf).

He got caught for '322', but there was also information that he was playing with a cheat. That's just one person. Imagine what it would be like if Dota had an open ecosystem.

Let's be honest, there are way more tournaments in CS than in Dota. The number of pro players in CS is much higher than in Dota. Because of this, there's a higher chance of someone cheating. Cheats in CS give a much greater advantage.

That wouldn't work in Dota. It might give you a boost, some advantage, but you won't beat a stronger player. That's not how it works in CS."

Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov, captain of BetBoom Team, had previously discussed the new tournament system for CS2 from Valve.
