In an interview with HLTV.org, MOUZ captain Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek shared his thoughts on the team’s group stage victory over FaZe at the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 in Singapore.
"I'm pleased with the team’s performance, that’s for sure. It’s not about how many times we can win or lose against them; it’s more about when you secure a victory over a team like that. If this kind of match happens in the final, that’s the most meaningful win. So, that’s what we’ll aim for."
The Polish esports player also discussed his expectations for the upcoming match against Astralis, where a top-four spot in the tournament is at stake.
"They’re a completely new team, not the lineup we played against last time. They just won against NAVI and showed some strong play. It’s hard to say whether Astralis were in top form or if NAVI weren’t at their best. We’ll prepare to face them as usual and hope that everyone’s in form for the game."
The BLAST Premier World Final 2024 takes place from 30 October to 3 November in Singapore, with a prize pool of one million USD shared among eight teams. MOUZ will face Astralis, 31 October, in a match for a semi-final spot.
