The teams in Group A at IEM Dallas 2024 have completed their opening matches, resulting in four teams dropping to the lower bracket.
In the first round, MOUZ lost to 9z, Complexity was defeated by Liquid, Falcons fell short against G2, and Monte was beaten by Vitality. All four matches were played in a best-of-one format.
The losing teams will now face elimination matches, while the winners advance to the next round, where they will compete for a spot in the upper bracket final later today. Subsequent matches will be played in a best-of-three format.
