Monte Withdrew From CCT Tournament Due To STYKO Health Issues

The Monte team had to withdraw from the CCT Season 2 European Series 7 online tournament. One of the team members, Martin "STYKO" Styk, needed to take a few days off due to surgery. The Slovakian esports player announced this on his X social media page.

"Unfortunately, I have to undergo surgery today. It's nothing serious, but I will need a few days for a full recovery. This will prevent me from performing at my best."

Monte won three consecutive matches in the group stage of CCT Season 2 European Series 7 and advanced to the final stage of the championship. It is still unknown whether the tournament organisers will seek a replacement for the team.

Last month, the Ukrainian esports club introduced two new members to their Counter-Strike 2 roster: Olek "hades" Miskiewicz and Paweł "dycha" Dycha, both of whom previously played together for ENCE.
