Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov, a member of the BetBoom Team CS2 roster, shared the team's goals for the YaLLa Compass 2024 tournament. In an interview with HLTV.org, he also mentioned the team he would most like to play against in the playoffs.
"[Question: What are your expectations for the playoffs? Which team would you most like to play against?] I think our goal is to at least reach the top 3. We didn't have extensive preparation, but even so, we believe we can win this tournament.
As for the opponent: I've played against all [teams in this event] except The MongolZ. It would probably be interesting to face them and see how they play. From what I can tell, they have strong players and cool ideas. It would be interesting to play against them."
Earlier, the BetBoom Team secured a spot in the YaLLa Compass 2024 playoffs by finishing second in Group B. In the initial stage, the team played in five matches and won four of them. BetBoom Team will begin the decisive stage from the quarterfinals, where Rodnov's team will compete against Astralis.
