"I have some bad news for you guys... I'm not joking, I just don't want to say anything until the organization... Until it happens. I can't say it. You'll see within four days, but it's not certain."
Some users online speculated that m0NESY hinted at roster changes in G2 Esports. According to another version, someone on the team encountered difficulties obtaining a visa for the United Kingdom, where the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 begins on June 12, and as a result, the team will have to compete in the championship with a stand-in.
Previously, G2 participated in IEM Dallas 2024 with a substitute. Due to personal circumstances, captain Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen missed the competition. He was temporarily replaced by Jake "Stewie2k" Yip, with whom the team secured the first-place finish at the tournament.
