Former Monte coach Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov has announced his return to the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene. lmbt revealed that he has regained his motivation and has already begun searching for a new team. The Ukrainian esports player shared this update on his social media page on X.
"Thanks to a film I’ve just watched, I’ve found my motivation again. I still love CS and competing. So, with that said, I’m ready for new challenges and will start looking for a new job and home today."
It is worth noting that Bezhanov coached Monte since January of last year. Under his guidance, the team failed to qualify for the European RMR tournament ahead of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, and in early September this year, Sergey left the team.
Following his departure, the Ukrainian organisation appointed Piotr "nawrot" Nawrocki as head coach, previously serving as Monte’s assistant coach. Before Monte, lmbt worked with teams such as TITANS, GORILLAZ, FORZE, and AVANGAR.
