Monte's coach, Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov, commented on the roster changes in his team, as the Ukrainian club recently signed Olek "hades" Miskiewicz and Pawel "dycha" Dycha. lmbt is confident that these newcomers will strengthen the team.
"I'm personally very pleased that we managed to bring hades and dycha into our team because they are a very powerful duo, and I believe we can win tournaments with this lineup. The main goal, of course, is the Major, but we all understand that it will take a lot of time for everyone to get used to each other."
Bezhanov also evaluated the major roster changes that have occurred in the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene during this offseason. Specifically, Sergey commented on the changes in Cloud9, G2, and BIG.
"There hasn't been a transfer that has 'surprised' me, but I like the transfer of jks to Liquid. He's a brilliant player, and it's a brilliant transfer.
The signing of HeavyGod by Cloud9 is also very strong because he is individually very talented.
RigoN to BIG is also a good transfer, but I don't think they will achieve much in the new season.
Snax to G2 looks good, he's a great player and captain. I think now nothing should hinder them, especially since malbsMd will be getting a lot of frags that nexa wasn't, and Snax is a calm, experienced, and positive captain.
And of course, BOROS to Into the Breach: let's see how that turns out. I've said before that Muhammed is someone you need to manage well, give him a lot of space in the game, and I've managed to do that; let's see how it goes in the new team."
Monte finished last at IEM Dallas 2024 and did not qualify for the upcoming LAN tournaments ESL Pro League Season 20, Skyesports Championship 2024, and BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024. Currently, the team ranks 52nd in the HLTV ranking.
