The Dutch club Liquid has announced further changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster, with coach Wilton "zews" Prado officially leaving the team. The organisation has yet to introduce a new coach for the squad.
The Brazilian esports professional had been leading Liquid since December of last year. Under his guidance, the team failed to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, and Esports World Cup 2024. The roster also finished 7-8th at IEM Dallas 2024, took silver at CCT Global Finals 2024, and made the top-8 at ESL Pro League Season 19.
Last week, Liquid benched their captain and sniper, Casper "cadiaN" Møller. Another player, Felipe "skullz" Medeiros, is also expected to leave the roster soon, with rumours suggesting he might join FURIA.
Due to these roster changes, Liquid lost three places in the HLTV world rankings, dropping to 14th position, behind The MongolZ, 9z, and Eternal Fire.
The current Liquid roster:
- Keith "NAF" Markovic
- Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis
- Felipe "skullz" Medeiros
- Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
