The captain of HEROIC, Damian "kyxsan" Stoilkovski, has spoken out about the visa issues faced by his teammate Abdul "degster" Gasanov. Stoilkovski urged the community to stop the hate directed at the Russian esports player. He shared his thoughts on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
"There has been a lot of hate and unnecessary comments directed at degster recently due to his visa situation. He applied for his visa almost two months ago, and if everything had gone according to plan, he would be with us in Copenhagen and also in Cologne.
We can’t influence this situation, and there’s no point in blaming Abdul for it. I hope everything will be resolved soon, and that Abdul will be back with us on the server."
It’s worth noting that HEROIC will begin their campaign at IEM Cologne 2024 without degster, as the player was unable to obtain the necessary visa in time for the championship. This will be the third tournament where the team competes without Gasanov.
