Korb3n on G2 replacements

Team Spirit's Dota 2 manager, Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, expressed confusion over the replacement of captain Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen with Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski in G2 Esports. Belov shared his bewilderment in a post on his personal Telegram channel.

"Are there any CS:GO players here? I have a question: why is G2 shuffling for the sake of shuffling? Swapping HooXi for Snax is like switching a hamburger for a cheeseburger. Or is this shuffle just to 'open a window' to make it less stuffy? NiKo is certainly an egocentric guy, but that's his right, entirely."

On 3 July, G2 Esports introduced their new CS2 team captain, replacing Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen with former GamerLegion member Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski. The club had also previously announced the signing of Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa, who replaced Nemanja "nexa" Isaković in the starting lineup.

The first major event for the revamped G2 roster will be the Esports World Cup 2024, which will take place from 17 to 21 July in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fifteen teams will compete for a prize pool of one million dollars.
