Aurora player Alexander "KENSI" Gurkin shared his thoughts on the level of organisation at the Skyesports Championship 2024 in India. In a comment to Metaratings, Gurkin noted that the conditions provided by the organisers were not up to standard.
"The first day was a complete disaster; it’s somewhat better now, but the conditions are still far from ideal. We even considered that the tournament might be cancelled. BetBoom Team wasn’t the only team contemplating withdrawing, but in the end, we decided to stay. If this tournament didn’t impact the RMR, we probably would have pulled out. We’ve come so far that we just wanted to play, regardless of the conditions."
Previously, the BetBoom Team had withdrawn from the Skyesports Championship 2024 "due to the discrepancies between the promised and actual conditions."
Skyesports Masters 2024 is being held from 23 to 28 July in Mumbai, India, at the Taj Lands End venue. The prize pool for the championship is $300,000.
