The Chinese esports club JiJieHao has strengthened its roster with two European players ahead of the upcoming Esports World Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia. According to HLTV, the new additions to the team are Marcus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye and Denislav "dennyslaw" Dimitrov.
Kjaerbye joined the team as a stand-in and played a crucial role in helping the team qualify for the tournament. Earlier this year, the Danish player attempted but failed to qualify for the major in Copenhagen through open qualifiers, after being inactive for over a year following his departure from Endpoint.
Dennyslaw, hailing from Bulgaria, replaces Love "phzy" Smedebro, who also played as a stand-in for JiJieHao in the qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2024. Dennyslaw has previously represented teams like 500 and SKADE. Phzy, on the other hand, is poised to potentially join Wildcard.
The Esports World Cup 2024 will take place from July 17 to July 21 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, featuring 15 teams. You can find the full list of participating teams through the provided link.
