Jackinho returned to the CS2 pro scene

The 25-year-old Swedish esports player Jack "Jackinho" Ström Mattsson has announced his return to the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene following a three-month hiatus.

To recap, in early August this year, Jackinho departed from Metizport and took a break from competitive play to focus on his mental health. Just days later, his spot was taken by Lucas "L00m1" Haukland.

Mattsson shared on his social media page on X that he is currently a free agent and will soon be playing under the Lilmix tag.

"I have decided to fully commit to CS once more. After significant work on myself and my mental health, I believe I will come back stronger. For now, I am a free agent and will be playing with Lilmix.

My goal is to reach an even higher level than before. See you in 2025."

Mattsson was part of Metizport for just under a year, from September 2023 to August 2024, fulfilling the roles of sniper and team captain. His average rating after joining Metizport was 1.01. Throughout his professional Counter-Strike 2 career, he has earned $58,000 in prize money.
